Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, who sees it, and how to get it removed. No dark patterns and no data selling.
1. What this covers
Parikshit Technology Consultant LLP ("we") is the data fiduciary for personal data collected through this website and in the course of providing our services. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
It applies to visitors to parikshitsolutions.com, clients, vendors and anyone who contacts us. It does not cover third-party websites we link to.
2. Information we collect
You give us
- Name, company, email address, phone number — through the enquiry form, email or WhatsApp
- Billing details, registered address and GSTIN — needed to raise a compliant tax invoice
- Registrant details for domain registration — name, address, email, phone, as required by the registry
- Technical information about your systems, where relevant to work we are doing for you
Collected automatically
- Standard server logs from our hosting provider — IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps
- We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics profiling on this site
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data. Please do not send us financial account credentials, identity documents or health information unless we have specifically asked for them for a stated purpose.
3. How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare quotations
- To deliver the goods and services you have ordered
- To raise GST-compliant invoices and collect payment
- To register and manage domains, hosting and related services on your instruction
- To provide support and maintain records of past work on your systems
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations
We do not sell your data. We do not add you to marketing lists without your consent, and any marketing email carries an unsubscribe option.
4. Who we share it with
We share data only where necessary, with:
| Recipient | Why |
|---|---|
| Zoho | Accounting, invoicing and the client portal |
| Netlify | Website hosting and enquiry form submissions |
| ResellerClub and upstream registries | Domain registration and hosting — registrant details are passed on as the registry requires |
| Payment gateway | Processing online payments. Card details are handled by the gateway; we never see or store them |
| WhatsApp / Meta | Only if you choose to contact us that way, subject to their own privacy terms |
| Our accountant and auditors | Statutory compliance |
| Government authorities | Where required by law |
Note that domain registration data may appear in public WHOIS records, subject to the registry's policy and any privacy protection you have purchased.
5. Where your data is stored
Our accounting data is held with Zoho on their India data centre. Website hosting and form submissions are handled by Netlify, which operates internationally. Domain registration data is transferred to registries which may be located outside India, as the nature of the domain system requires.
6. How long we keep it
- Financial records and invoices — as long as Indian tax and companies legislation requires, currently a minimum of eight years
- Client project records — for the duration of the relationship and a reasonable period after, so we can support systems we built
- Enquiries that do not convert — deleted within 24 months
- Server logs — retained per our hosting provider's standard period
7. Security
We use HTTPS across the site, restrict access to client data to people who need it, keep credentials in a password manager rather than in email or documents, and enable two-factor authentication on business-critical accounts.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach occurs that is likely to affect you, we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable Indian data protection law, you may:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete
- Ask us to erase data, where we are not required to keep it for legal or accounting reasons
- Withdraw consent where our processing relies on consent
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity
- Raise a grievance with us, and escalate to the relevant authority if unsatisfied
Write to hello@parikshitsolutions.com. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first.
9. Cookies
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which will see your IP address as part of serving the request. Third-party portals we link to — such as the Zoho client portal — set their own cookies under their own policies.
10. Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
